For this research, I suggest you laid down some exercises requesting them to use the dictionary at regular interval (e.g. every day) to make sure that students of both groups receive the same treatment (i.e. use the dictionary).

I am not sure if you would also lend the electronic dictionary to students to use at home because they may use the paper dictionary at home or vice versa for the other group who may have electronic dictionary at home. How we be sure that their vocabulary learning is not picked up at home?
