Experimental Research Questions

รจWe have proposed two potential experimental research questions as below and also include

1) how could data for the related
variables be collected
2) provide argument
how answer to that question which can contribute to improvements in some aspect of education/teaching and learning.

Task of Correlation Research Questions

We have created some possible questions that can be classified as Correlation Research Questions and included below items in the power point.

1.Propose potential correlation research questions
2.How data for the correlated variables be collected
3.Provide arguments on how answer to that question can contribute to improvements in some aspects of education/teaching and learning.

Our powerpoint of review

Session 1 -- Classification of research topics

From list of MSc/B Ed research abstracts at http://www.cite.hku.hk/alumni/dissertation/

Quantitative Research

Descriptive Research:
e.g. 02C17 (Reason: hypotheses are created beforehand)

Correlational Research:
e.g. 02L19 (Reason: study for the relation of two variables)

Causal-comparative Research:
03Y12 (Reason: it is used to find out the cause and effect, and one of the variables is independent.)

Experimental Research:
e.g. 02L20 (Reason: an experimental group and a control group are used to do experiment)

Qualitative Research

Historical Research:
e.g. 02C19 (Reason: documents are collected and observation is used to test hypotheses)

Naturalistic Research:
e.g. 02C12 (Reason: it is done by case study)
